Seniors Ivan Jovicic (Belgrade, Serbia) and Felipe Vargas (Miami, Fla.) added 12 and 11 points, respectively, as four Valiants reached double figures. Pleasantville sophomore Jack Bramswig and sophomore Colin Campbell (Miami, Fla.) each had eight points, with Bramswig adding 10 rebounds, while senior Jeff Ventura (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Cypress Bay) added five points.
Down by eight at the half, Manhattanville scored 14 straight points to take a five-point lead at 38-33 and did not fall behind the rest of the way.
The Valiants built their lead to 10 points with 10:53 remaining on a Jovicic 3-pointer. William Paterson then made its late push with an 8-0 run and trailed 72-70 with 2:20 minutes to go.
