A 33-year-old woman was hit with criminal charges after causing a disturbance at a Connecticut middle school and refusing to leave, police said.
New Haven County resident Uniese Rivera of Milford was arrested following an incident at West Shore Middle School on Wednesday, May 1, Milford Police announced on Wednesday, May 15.
According to the department, on the day of the incident, Rivera allegedly caused a disturbance and yelled profanities at the school. She also refused to leave after school staff told her to several times, police said.

3 Teens, 1 Armed, Charged In Hudson Valley Burglary
Police captured three Hudson Valley teens for an alleged burglary in progress, one with a loaded gun.
The incident occurred in Dutchess County in the Tompkins Terrace area on Wednesday, April 3, in Beacon.
According to the Beacon Police, officers responded to the area and found the suspects had fled, but they were able to obtain a description of the teens.
A quick search of the area turned up the suspects, where police found a 15-year-old had a loaded, illegal weapon, the department said.

Carrie Lynn Frazier, 34 of the 300 block South Main Street in Chambersburg, is wanted for three counts each of endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors, area police explained on Feb. 21.

Two Fairfield County men were charged with trespass and assault after allegedly starting a fight at a crowded bar.
Bridgeport resident Juan Torres, age 35, and Newtown resident Alexander Rosa, age 41, were arrested on Wednesday, Jan. 24, following the fight at the Rum & Tequila Bar in Bridgeport.
According to Capt. Lonnie Blackwell of the Bridgeport Police said officers responded to the club after receiving a call of a disturbance involving several people.

Hours after a Connecticut man originally trespassed on someone’s property, he took it a step further by breaking in, police said.
It happened on Tuesday, Nov. 7 in the Tolland County town of Mansfield, according to Connecticut State Police.

A man is facing charges in connection with intentional fires that were set at a home and business in the region.
Michael Kabler, age 49, who is homeless, was arrested Saturday, Oct. 7, after multiple agencies responded to a residential fire at the Sunset Trailer Park in Colonie, located on Central Avenue, at around 6 a.m.
According to Colonie Police, investigators determined that Kabler was responsible for the fire and had been squatting in the trailer.
