A motor-vehicle crash with injuries caused gridlock on I-95 at the junction of I-287 during much of the Monday morning commute.
The crash, on the northbound side, took out two lanes when it occurred just before 8 a.m., causing stop-and-go delays to Exit 20 (Post Road/Route 1). The lanes reopened within an hour.
There are residual delays farther north near the Port Chester/Greenwich border on southbound I-95 after a tractor-trailer crash between Exits 4 and 3, which is also blocked two lanes before being cleared around 8:30 a.m.
