Here's a significant vote total you won't share either: the number of NWP residents who voted yes doesn't even equal the number of signatures tony got on his petition (300). If nwp wanted this so bad, wouldn't you expect everyone who signed to show up and vote? What happened buddy? I bet I can start a petition to rid this town of tony futia and I could get far more than 3,000 signatures. View Comment
I find it sad how opinions are tossed around like facts these days. Again, you provide no source for your numbers but rather just speak of your single opinion like it's gospel. I talk politics with countless people in town who are familiar with our elected officials, but I would never proclaim a specific number of people could name our councilmen because I'm not blinded by ignorance just to support an agenda. I work in a profession where facts and sources matter when supporting an argument, not made up numbers based on opinion. What people like you are doing is dangerous for our community, spreading misinformation and beliefs like wildfire with absolutely no support to back it up.
If you support the ward system that's absolutely fine by me, just don't go saying how it would be great for our community using made up numbers. You could start by enlightening me why this special election can't wait a year and cost us nothing instead of costing us $100,000 now. I look forward to hearing your response. View Comment
Where do I sign the petition to get rid of Mr. Futia? Mr. Futia complains how retired town board employees are costing the town too much money by giving them healthcare benefits but has no problem costing the town another $100,000 by forcing them to hold this special election that no one wants and can wait until next year at no additional cost. Disgusting; I bet if North White Plains residents found out about how much this is going to cost them they wouldn't be supporting it. Some small group has obviously put him up to this to dilute the town board so they can get what they want.
A Real NWP Resident- I didn't know we were allowed to just make up figures and numbers saying 95% of the residents don't know the 4 councilmen. Who did your polling? ABC? NBC? I'm glad facts don't matter...Please keep your idiocy to yourself unless you want to present facts instead of opinions. Thank you. View Comment
"We have allowed the residents to finally have a voice in the future of their town and I enjoyed helping them accomplish their goals," Roth said
I say with a fair amount of confidence that every vote she had was against popular opinion. View Comment
Createsolutions- If you attended or watched any of the town board meetings, you would know that Charlene Jacobi never spoke out against the dog park nor was she ever rude to anybody. If you actually took the time to read the entire petition that was sponsored by several members of the community, there’s nothing presented in it that outright rejects a dog park in this town. Perhaps you are the rude one and are not considering the residents of Wampus Close who’ve been outspoken about not wanting a dog park in their back yard. Before you spew propaganda, you should learn the facts. View Comment
DDiggler-Howie Arden is that you? I enjoyed your logic that even though just about everything else besides a dog park was voted for on the recreation survey, it doesn't mean no one wants a dog park. Is this semantics class?
And since you're so interested in allaboutarmonk, I suggest you take a gander at these comments written by the Armonk community. Hooray reading!

Howard Arden is a disgrace to this town. Do we need to be reminded that Mike Fareri, his business partners, and family members donated thousands to his campaign? I wonder why Fareri was willing to spend so much to get a certain individual elected. Oh that's right, he has applications in front of the town board. Time to get him, Diane, and John Boy off the town board in November. View Comment
Supervisor Arden's conduct during his time as supervisor has been completely unacceptable. Insulting residents, calling for meetings at times no one can attend so him and his two pals can pass things without any other input. It's absolutely disgraceful. View Comment
