Accumulating Snow Possible Overnight Into Monday In Harrison

Light snow could develop overnight Sunday and continue into Monday morning in Southern Westchester, according to a Special Weather Statement issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday.

The snow is expected to taper off by early Monday afternoon.

Monday will be a cloudy day with a high in the low 30s and a wind-chill value between 20 and 25.

Snow is even more likely Tuesday, with a coating to an inch of snow possible in the area, according to AccuWeather.com, adding that it only takes a small amount of snow to cause slippery spots on roadways. There could be several inches of accumulation farther north in the Albany area.

There could be snow mixed with rain after 3 p.m. Tuesday during a day in which the high temperature will be around 35 degrees.

After a mostly cloudy day Wednesday with a high around 40, Thursday will be mostly sunny but cold, with a high only around 32 and an overnight low in the upper teens.
