HARRISON, N.Y. -- Various roads in downtown Harrison experienced flooding Thursday after heavy rainfall hit the area Wednesday. Roads were passable for the most part, but drivers still needed to use caution while navigating through them.
Oakland Avenue saw minor flooding and Nelson Avenue near the intersection of Union Avenue also saw floodwaters from the duck pond behind Harrison Avenue Elementary School.
The floods went as far as affecting morning drop-off for Louis M. Klein Elementary School earlier this week.
