The snow should move in sometime during the morning Tuesday and bring with it a wind-chill factor between 15 and 25 degrees. The chance of snow is 80 percent in Westchester and Rockland and 60 percent in Dutchess and Putnam, according to the National Weather Service.

As a result of the storm, commuters should be prepared for snow-covered roads and slow and slippery travel along I-84 and I-87 in the Hudson Valley on Tuesday.

Wednesday will remain mostly cloudy with temperatures near 40 degrees until sunny skies return on Thursday with a high near 36 degrees, officials said.
