Monday, Oct. 22

Storyland: 10:30-11 a.m. Children ages 3-5 will read stories, listen to songs and do other activities. Siblings are welcome. Harrison Public Library, 2 Bruce Ave., Harrison.

Board games: 4-5 p.m. Friends and family members of all ages can roll the dice and play some old-fashioned board games in the Friends of the Library-sponsored event at the Harrison Public Library, 2 Bruce Ave., Harrison.

Tuesday, Oct. 23

College Fair: Noon to 2:30 p.m. A college fair will take place at Harrison High School. 255 Union Ave., Harrison.

Candidates' Forum Night : 7:30-10 p.m. Congressional candidates for the 17th District Joe Carvin, Nita Lowey, and Frank Morgenthaler will speak at the event plus candidates for the state Assembly's 93rd District David Buchwald and Robert Castelli. The event is sponsored by the Rye, Rye Brook & Port Chester and Harrison Chapters of the League of Women Voters and will take place at the Harrison Public Library. Wednesday, Oct. 24

Sculpture Revealing : 4-5 p.m. A sculpture completed by Issac Witkin will be shown at this Purchase College, SUNY event. “United We Stand” will be on display until April. This event will feature speeches and refreshments.

Board of Education Meeting: 7:15 p.m. The meeting will take place in the library of the Louis M. Klein Middle School. 50 Union Ave., Harrison.

Thursday, Oct. 25

Mother Goose Time: 10:30-11 a.m. Boys and girls ages 3 and younger, plus their siblings, can participate in this event at the West Harrison Library. 2 Madison St., West Harrison.

Multicultural Night: 6-8:30 p.m. This event will take place at Harrison Avenue Elementary School. 480 Harrison Ave., Harrison.

Friday, Oct. 26

Staying Connected with Your Teen: 10 a.m. to noon. This Harrison Youth Council sponsored event will help Japanese parents stay connected with their teenagers. 2 Bruce Ave., Harrison.

Senior Citizens Club: Noon to 3 p.m. The Harrison Senior Citizens Club will get together to discuss items of interest and play bingo at the Veterans Building. For more information, call 914-227-7088. 210 Halstead Ave., Harrison.
