According to Caroline Walker, a volunteer at Pet Rescue, the non-profit is doing a darling Valentine’s Day fundraiser where people “Give Their Heart" for their favorite cat or dog online while making a $10 gift per heart.

Pet lovers or potential new pet parents can vote or adopt by clicking online here.

Supporters can give as many hearts as they please to as many rescues as they please — spreading the love!

Voting ended at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14.

Each vote is reflected with a heart next to the animal’s name.

Last but not least, animal lovers are invited to Pet Rescue’s 35th anniversary celebration Pawdi Gras Masquerade Ball on Friday, March 3 at The Fountainhead, 55 Quaker Ridge Road in New Rochelle.
