Motorists are advised that on Monday, April 3, and Tuesday, April 4, lane closures are expected to occur on both northbound and southbound sides of the Hutchinson River Parkway.
The closures, between Exit 25 (Route 127/North Street) and Exit 30S (Route 120A/King Street) in Harrison and Rye, will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., while crews perform maintenance activities, weather permitting.
Motorists should expect delays and seek alternate routes where possible.
Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers.
Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
