HARRISON, N.Y. Did you know that Harrison EMS offers a program for 16- through 21-year-olds to get involved?
Program participants can become junior members and ride on the ambulance with the hired crews. All training and equipment is provided by Harrison EMS.
The Explorer Post has taken off, according to the Harrison EMS. The program is sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America (Explorer Post 2070) and allows young men and women to discover what a career in EMS would be like.
