- MasterCard Worldwide announced a recommitment to Westchester with a $39 million capital investment to renovate and expand its Purchase headquarters.
- New York City authorities have charged 18 people believed to have been involved in a group that stole luxury vehicles from several car dealerships, including in Westchester County.
- Around 30 people were injured in a 24-car-crash pileup on the Bronx River Parkway in Yonkers leading to a nearly three-hour closure of Interstate 95.
- DNA testing by Westchester County officials has led to the arrest of Maria Guaman-Gumana , 23, a Spring Valley woman, believed to be the mother of "Baby Angel," and charged with second-degree murder.
