Driver Wanted In Harrison Arrested In Tuckahoe

TUCKAHOE, N.Y. – An Eastchester man who had an open warrant in Harrison was arrested on Thursday after allegedly leaving the scene of an accident in Tuckahoe.

According to police, Brandon Lawrence, 37, was driving without a license when he struck a parked car on Marbledale Road at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday night.

Lawrence drove from the scene, police said, eventually leaving his Volkswagen Jetta and continuing to flee on foot. Police said the suspect left the car with the door open and keys still in the ignition.

After being apprehended by Tuckahoe police, Lawrence was charged with driving without a license and leaving the scene of an accident. He was wanted in Harrison for driving without a license. Lawrence has had his license suspended four times, twice in Harrison.

Harrison police picked up Lawrence early on Thursday morning to answer his charges.
