Police Seek Help In Investigation Of Skeletal Remains Found In Westchester

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Police are asking the public for help with information surrounding the death of a Yonkers man whose skeletal remains were found wrapped in a rolled up carpet in June.

The remains, of Michael Newman, aka Michael Nuwnen, a middle-aged resident of Westchester County, were discovered at P165 Bruce Ave. at approximately 4:30 p.m. on June 5. Preliminary reports found that the remains were possibly discarded at the location where they were discovered, said Det. Sgt. Dean Politopoulos.
