“We were excited by the opportunity to once again perform in New York City with the Little Orchestra Society," said Charlie Briem and David Blumenthal, co-directors of the band.

“We are pleased to have a relationship with such a high-profile musical foundation, led by Joanne Bernstein-Cohen, executive director, that shares many of our Harrison Central School District core beliefs regarding arts education and student involvement in the arts.”

The Harrison High School Performing Arts Department has enjoyed an on-going relationship with the Little Orchestra Society of New York for more than 10 years.

In past years, the entire high school band performed as cast members in the Lincoln Center’s production of “Babes in Toyland” during three separate seasons. The band was cast as wooden soldiers who march into Avery Fisher Hall to save the day and had the opportunity to play the show’s closing number and "Toyland Reprise."
