HARRISON, N.Y. -- The Harrison Central School District will dismiss students early Friday.
Students will be dismissed "so that teachers can score mandated student assignments," district representatives said on the district's website. Students will begin school at the normal time and will be dismissed early, representatives said.
High school students will be dismissed at 8:50 a.m., middle school students will be dismissed at 9 a.m. and elementary school students will be dismissed at 9:45 a.m., according to the district website.
Bus transportation will be available to students who normally ride the bus and after-school events will continue as originally scheduled, district representatives said.
