Harrison Varsity Cheerleaders Place Second In Championships

HARRISON, N.Y. -- The Harrison High School varsity cheerleading squad took second place at the Westchester County Center Cheerleading Championships on Nov.r 25.

The team has started its journey toward qualifying for the UCA Nationals in Florida this February.

Senior Victoria Nuvoloni was awarded the Westchester County Cheerleading scholarship. She was selected based on academic achievement, school and community involvement, a written essay, video, and personal interview.

The Harrison Varsity Cheerleaders began its winter season at the WPDRCCA Fall Competition where they placed fourth. The team will be competing at the New Rochelle High School Competition this weekend.
