Most recently, Siciliano served as the principal of Sagamore Middle School for the last nine years in the Sachem School District, where he led several comprehensive initiatives to improve instructional programs and increase student achievement, according to a release from Harrison schools. Under Siciliano’s leadership, Sagamore Middle School was recognized in 2010 by the New York State Education Department as a High Performing/Gap Closing school, the release said.
Previously, Siciliano worked as the assistant principal at the middle and high school level in Sachem. He also taught high school social studies in New York City and on Long Island.
The new principal job took effect July 1.
