2nd Annual Andrew Gurgitano Memorial Baseball Game In West Harrison

WEST HARRISON, N.Y. -- Harrison High School is hosting the second annual Andrew Gurgitano Memorial Baseball Game in memory of their 16-year-old teammate who died of a stroke in November 2014.

The Huskies' game against the Rye Garnets begins at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 7 at Silver Lake Park in West Harrison. Pre-game ceremonies begin at 3:30 p.m.

Andrew Louis Gurgitano was an outstanding pitcher and baseball player for the Huskies. He also was an excellent student and role model. He exemplified hard work, integrity and sportsmanship both on and off the field, according to school officials and his former teammates and coaches.
