Segal, now a senior at Bentley, is taking over as the team’s setter. She is a graduate of Harrison High School.
“Jessica has seen significant playing time over the last two years as our starting defensive specialist. Her presence and confidence on the court will guide our new squad as we build team chemistry,” said Pacis, the Falcons’ second-year head coach.
Segal, a veteran of 333 career sets, averaged 2.52 digs and 0.95 assists last fall while helping the Falcons to a share of the Northeast-10 regular season championship and the semifinals of the NCAA Division II East Regional.
She had 19 kills in two of the Falcons’ biggest wins of 2014. Bentley is 9-5 so far this season.
