Montgomery County Teen Has Been Missing For Over A Week, Police Say
Police have issued an alert for a Montgomery County teen they say has been missing for more than a week. Zakur Brown, 16, was last seen near the 300 block of Flannery Lane in Silver Spring on Monday, April 1, the Montgomery County Police Department said April 10. Zakur is about 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair styled in locs, police said. No clothing description was available. Police are seeking the identities of six suspects after two businesses were struck by gunfire last month. Officers responded to the shooting report near the 900 block of Persei Place in Rockville around 12:30 a.m. Friday, March 8. Police have identified the innocent driver killed by a wrong-way car thief during a police pursuit on I-695 earlier this week.
