Josh Lanier started his reporting career in high school for his local newspaper. Many — many — years later, he’s still chasing leads for compelling stories. During his time writing for newspapers, magazines, and online publications, he’s covered everything from murderers to mommy bloggers, but his most interesting story is always the next one.

Support Pours In For Family Of Central Mass Man Killed In Needham Wreck Nearly 150 people have donated to help the family of a Worcester County man who was killed in an early morning crash earlier this week, leaving behind a wife and three young children.  Dylan Chaves, 31, of Fiskdale, was killed just after 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30, when he lost control of his pick-up truck and turned into on-coming traffic on I-95 South in Needham, State Police said. How she ended up there remains a mystery, but prosecutors have a person of interest.  Constance Holminski Bassignani was found not far off the road on Route 76 in Warwick on June 24, 1989. Driver Crashes Into Worcester Home After Being Shot A driver who crashed into a Worcester County home earlier this week had been shot before the crash, authorities said.  Officers were called to the home on Paine Street just after 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, to find the car against the home and a driver suffering from a bullet wound, Worcester police said.  Paramedics rushed the driver to an area hospital to treat his injuries.
