A New York City Police Department officer from Long Island was shot and killed while making a traffic stop. Nassau County resident Jonathan Diller, age 31, of Massapequa Park, was shot around 5:50 p.m., Monday, March 25, on Mott Avenue in Far Rockaway, Queens, said the New York City Police Department.
