A new round of overnight lane and ramp closures near the new Tappan Zee Bridge have been announced as crews prepare to realign traffic lanes. Route 17A Stretch Will Be Closed For Weeks During Roadwork
A busy Orange County roadway will be closed for several weeks as crews complete construction work in the area. The New York State Department of Transportation issued an alert warning that east and westbound lanes on Route 17A will be closed between West Street and Railroad Avenue in Warwick. 25 Passengers Transferred From Disabled Spring Valley-Bound Train
A Rockland County-bound train experiencing mechanical problems delayed 25 passengers at the Park Ridge station Tuesday, NJ Transit officials said. Passengers on Pascack Valley Line train #1613 were transferred to the Montvale station after their 1:32 p.m. train to Spring Valley became disabled, an NJ Transit spokesperson said. New Tappan Zee Bridge Span Reopens After Fire Breaks Out On RV
The Westchester-bound span of the new Tappan Zee Bridge has reopened after a fire involving a recreational vehicle broke out. The blaze, on an RV pulling a Honda Pilot, began just before 3:30 p.m. and was quickly contained, the New York State Thruway Authority said in a statement. No injuries were reported. "A structural engineer has evaluated the overhead gantry structure, and all lanes have re-opened to allow traffic to flow," the NYSTA said at 5 p.m. "Motorists should expect residual delays.”

Route 9W Reopens After Crash Kills One, Injures Several
This story has been updated. A stretch of Route 9W in the Middlehope area of the town of Newburgh has reopened following a multiple-vehicle crash. The crash took place around 1:40 p.m., Wednesday, June 19 on Route 9W, north of Lattintown Road, said Town of Newburgh Police Lt. James Nenni. According to Nenni, one person was killed and several were injured in the crash. The road, from Lattintown Road to Old Post Road, was closed for hours while the investigation continued.
