Police were called to the 1900 block of N. Croskey Street around 12:55 a.m., where the woman had suffered gunshot wounds to her chest before being taken to Temple University Hospital in a private vehicle, police said. Osman Elgamri, of Sterling, was operating a 2017 Lexus IS300 when he left the roadway and struck a tree at approximately 12:20 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, county police said.
