A Pennsylvania man has been charged in connection with a fatal high-speed crash in South Jersey, authorities said. Theresa Karbach, 69, of Cherry Hill, died as a result of injuries from the crash in Lawnside on May 13 at about 9:30 p.m., according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay. Bernadette I. DiDomenico-Bentz died at home on Thursday, May 16, according to an obituary published by Pancoast Funeral Home. She was 55 years old. Bernadette graduated in 1987 from Vineland High School, her obituary said. She owned her own salon, the Hair Hut, for many years, her obit said. Bernadette loved knitting and crocheting scarves and blankets for her family. She also enjoyed gardening, painting and making wreaths. A dolphin died during rescue efforts after it was stuck in a Cape May County creek for more than a week, according to marine biologists. New Jersey was rattled by a small earthquake on Friday morning, May 24, the USGS reports. It happened at 3:50 a.m. in Tewksbury, approximately 6 kilometers southwest of Gladstone, the USGS says.
